Vimbayi says the killing of the policeman in Harare had nothing to do with politics. Dressed in plain clothes he was involved in a fight with a vendor and then took his anger out on people having a drink at a local bar, which started the fight in which he died; while Mutsa says the policeman had been abusing his powers in the area and people said enough was enough and defended themselves.

Lance Guma looks at the top stories of the week while drawing on the expert analysis of journalist Bekithemba Mhlanga and political commentator Sanderson Makombe. Stories under the microscope include attempts by ZANU PF and the police to politicize the murder of a policeman in Glen View and press reports that army Commander Constantine Chiwenga wants to succeed Mugabe.
Cathy Buckle writes; 'Speaking in Plumtree a few days ago, PM Tsvangirai made a dramatic statement on political violence. He said: "My hands are very clean and my conscience is clear. I did not kill anyone during Gukurahundi. I did not kill anyone during Operation Murambatsvina and I did not kill anyone during the 2008 Presidential elections run-off. I challenge Mugabe to come out in public and say the same."
Don’t miss this humorous and entertaining edition of On the Pulse, as Lance Guma and Vickie Nkomo speak to Kazz from the group BKay n Kazz. The Zimbabwean RnB duo are set to release their new album African Spirit, and On the Pulse gives you the listener an exclusive preview of this 18 track album. Watch out for Bhundu Girl, Eva Since, Tendi, 7 Wonders, If you Say, Feeling Di Vibe and others.
