Reporter Damien Cave's front-page story was notable for the respect he showed a particular group of aggressive political demonstrators that don't garner plaudits from the media -- pro-lifers. The Times even took the very unusual step of posting graphic photos of the aftermath of abortion on its web site.

Oh the irony: Inflammatory race-baiter Al Sharpton says Rush Limbaugh is too "divisive" to own an NFL team, while columnist George Vecsey treats Limbaugh like an unworthy upstart and maybe a racist to boot. Is there a joke I'm missing?
