It is so fantastic, so brilliant project but we wish to see a grand final at last with real launchs, take offs, successfull landings, min 500 m runs and a gread photo, audio and video materials directly from the Moon.

I am somewhat skeptical! A private space launch could be seen by our or other military entities as a spy mission. However if Sir Branson can achieve low orbit maybe this could get past all the hardware floating around up there and be successful.

Still Testing is on the pad at Launch Complex 1 and looking healthy. Ideal launch conditions open up Monday. Currently targeting no earlier than 2.30 pm Monday 11 December NZDT for a launch attempt. (Sunday, 8.30 pm EST/5.30 pm PST/Monday 1.30 UTC).

South Korea’s first mission to the Moon!

This will be South Korea's first spacecraft beyond Earth orbit. Like India and China, South Korea plans an ambitious line of lunar missions to steadily ramp up capability in deep space.

South Korea's first mission to the Moon, the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter KPLO, is now planned for launch in December 2020.

先日SORATOの電源について紹介しましたが、先日太陽光パネルの試験を行ったので、今回は太陽光パネルについて少し掘り下げて紹介したいと思います。
宇宙では太陽光パネルがよく利用されています。宇宙は地球上と違って太陽光を妨げるものもがなく、いつも太陽光が照りつけているため、太陽光発電はエネルギー源とし...て利用しやすいんです。そのため、太陽光パネルは宇宙空間でも多くの実績があります。
現在太陽光パネルの中でもシリコン系とガリウムヒ素系の二つが主流です。どちらのパネルも効率は殆ど同じですが、HAKUTOのエンジニアが過去のプロジェクトで利用した経験があったことから、SORATOにはガリウムヒ素系のパネルを採用しています。
組み付け後の太陽光パネルの試験結果も良好でした。
SORATOのインドへの出発も間近です!!

This second Electron launch from the Māhia Peninsula in New Zealand will be live streamed. We can't wait to share it with you.
