Stories only appear to people who are able to view that specific content, based on privacy setting chosen by the person who posted it. For example, if you comment on a friend's status, then only people who are permitted to see your friend's status will see a story about it when they view your Wall.

You cannot prevent all stories from being published on your Wall; however, you can:

Prevent people from seeing certain stories by editing individual privacy settings for content you post. For instance, you can prevent a friend from seeing a story about a photo album you publish by preventing them from being able to see your photos.

Remove individual stories by clicking the "X" that appears to the right of the story after you move your mouse over it.

Unfortunately, Facebook does not have control over content that has already been indexed and cached in search engines. To request the immediate removal of this search listing, you will have to contact the specific search engine’s support team.

Blocking someone severs all friendship ties with that user. If you want to add this user as a friend after you have unblocked them, you will need to find them again in Search. If you cannot find them in Search, it is due to the Search privacy of the user.

We're very sorry for any discomfort this feature has caused. The "Tag a Friend" feature identifies untagged faces in photos you have uploaded. Unfortunately, we do not have the technical ability to determine whether the person shown in the photo is deceased. As always, you have the option to delete any photo that you have uploaded to Facebook.

For further information regarding deceased individuals and memorializing accounts, please review information located in our Help Center here.
