Applications using the Facebook Platform can access Insights data using FQL and the Graph API. Page owners and Facebook Platform developers must grant permission to allow third-party analytics software to access Insights data associated with your account. This is done using the read_insights extended permission that must be approved by the Page owner or Platform developer.
