We have partnered with a few select websites to make them more useful by letting you bring your friends and interests with you when you visit. Instant Personalization partner websites adhere to clear privacy guidelines and can only use your public information to offer you a more personalized experience.

When you first visit any of these partner sites while logged into Facebook, you’ll see a notification letting you know that your experience is being personalized. You can choose to learn more, turn off the personalized experience by clicking "No Thanks", or click "x" to remove the notification. If you don't want your experience personalized on these sites and you want to turn off Instant Personalization, click the Account dropdown menu at the top of any Facebook page and select Privacy Settings. Under Apps and Websites, click the "Edit your settings" link. You'll see a section for Instant Personalization on the following page.

You can turn off instant personalization on a partner site by clicking "No Thanks" in the notification at the top of the webpage.

You can turn off instant personalization on all sites using the privacy setting (click the 'Account' dropdown at the top of any Facebook page -> 'Privacy settings' -> 'Apps and Websites' -> 'Instant Personalization'). This will prevent you from seeing a personalized experience on partner sites and prevents your friends from seeing your information on these sites. You can login with Facebook on these sites directly to re-enable a personalized experience.
