This is most likely occurring because Location Services is turned off. Please check your settings on your iPhone:

1. Go to "Settings" and choose "General."
2. Select "Location Services."
3. Make sure "Location Services" and "Facebook" are both set to "On."

To enable Location Services:

1. Go to the Home screen and click the Options icon.
2. Click Advanced Options.
3. Click GPS.
4. Turn on Location Aiding by changing it to Enabled
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Save.

Depending on your wireless service provider and wireless network, this feature might not be supported.
