The full moon this Thursday & Friday, on the 25-26th of October will at the perigee of its orbit, and will appear as much as 14% wider and 30% brighter than normal as it passes.

Brandi Carlile has one of the more beautiful voices I’ve heard in a while. In 2004 she was signed by Columbia Records based on recordings she had been making off and on from home. The following year she was featured in Rolling Stone’s 10 Artists to Watch in 2005.
