My name is Joel Wing. I'm a high school teacher in Oakland, California. I've been teaching English, History, Government and Economics for over ten years. I have a BA and MA in International Relations. I wrote my Master's Thesis on the rise of Islamist groups. I've been reading, writing and researching about Iraq since 2002. My views on the war have changed over time and I am open to new ideas and theories about it. My blog is dedicated to my research and commentary on the war.
