The Muslim Brotherhood's Conquest of Europe

A must-read from Lorenzo Vidino in the Middle East Quarterly, with thanks to all who sent this in:

Since its founding in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood (Hizb al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun) has profoundly influenced the political life of the Middle East. Its motto is telling: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."[1]

While the Brotherhood's radical ideas have shaped the beliefs of generations of Islamists, over the past two decades, it has lost some of its power and appeal in the Middle East, crushed by harsh repression from local regimes and snubbed by the younger generations of Islamists who often prefer more radical organizations.

But the Middle East is only one part of the Muslim world. Europe has become an incubator for Islamist thought and political development. Since the early 1960s, Muslim Brotherhood members and sympathizers have moved to Europe and slowly but steadily established a wide and well-organized network of mosques, charities, and Islamic organizations. Unlike the larger Islamic community, the Muslim Brotherhood's ultimate goal may not be simply "to help Muslims be the best citizens they can be," but rather to extend Islamic law throughout Europe and the United States.[2]

Even though people in Europe -Eurabia- slowly wake up-, somehow there seems to be a little light and a little bit of a reaction...

Very good!

More than I can say about Australia. Everyone I talk to here is kind of dumbfounded. Like they think I'm some kind of a nutter! Just to record my song I have to explain ' what is Al Jazeera'...

What is 'Allahu Akhbar'- (sic) people here don't know that Islamics cry out to Allah when they saw somebody's head off...
And they think I'm some kind of 'racist' when I say things like
'9/11' or 'Beslan & Bali'-

I am puzzled!

But go to the US:

I promise I won't bring up Peanut Carter! (My favorite!)

But Indulgence continues: 2 years of OJ, 2 years of Blowjob- Clinton, (remember the posers, the blowboys in congress???)

Now its Michael Jackson, and of course Martha Steward. That is all soooooo much more interesting, isn't it?

Went to the Mardi Gras on Saturday night. There was a float about all the gays who are persecuted around the world.

Talked to some-one about this, about all the gays persecuted in Islamic countries, and she said "Not just Islamic countries, all over the world." Mentioned that I belonged to an anti-Islamic group, and she appeared completely uninterested.

Just like in Fawlty Towers with "don't mention the war", don't mention Islam.

"Heute Europas, morgen die Welt."

Thanks for pointing us to this very incisive article, Robert.

Voltaire:

It appears that most gays, like many feminists, perfer to identify with the perceived "victims" -- Palestinians (oppressed by Israel, not by their own vicious, thieving, manipulative brethren), Muslim immigrants to the west (racially profiled), in all likelihood because they see it as validation of their own "victim/oppressed minority" status.

As well, they are quite ignorant of the miscogeny and homophobia that are the norm in Muslim-ruled countries and of the relative freedom and acceptance they enjoy in the western world.
