    .
Finally...We're getting to the bigger roots of the issues !
I'm researching this for a personal blog, and would suggest that the Science Journals could play a part in correcting these PR blunders by doing a better job of communicating...to the Media at least (since there aren't any good Science Beat reporters anymore).

Unfortunately, these same Journals are already criticized within the Science Community for being too closed and restrictive as it is...So what needs to give in this broken/weak chain of communication?

    Feedback is Appreciated

The arogance resides solely in the people who are scared that someone is smarter than they are. So when some pundit panders to their mediocrity, telling them it is not their fault but instead the fault of those egghead socialists, they all say "Hooray! I am not really that dumb after all!" Which of course just proves they are not only dumb but gullible.

And do not be fooled; anyone who thinks that pumping fossil fuel waste into the atmoshpere does not effect the climate is a bonafide, inbred moron. Perhaps you think the soot in your chimney is magical pixie dust as well.

"Removal of the Medieval Warm Period was, in a word, insane"
Except that what you plainly don't grasp is that the MWP was localised, as in not relevant to a consideration of _global_ temperature trends. Nice try though.
