Anyone out there that defends the Windows Vista GUI is just a Mac fanboy that hasn’t come out of the closet yet.

Come on…How many years have Windows users jumped on the “it’s only pretty. Not functional.” bandwagon in beating Apple into the ground.

Look at you now with your fading away windows, and 1gb of ram needed to drive the pictures….Who’s the pretty but unfunctional now?

The pope has an endorsement to make.

From now on I am a full and total supporter of Stephen Colbert running for the democratic and republican nomination for President of the United States in South Carolina. Mr. Colbert has a platform that all Americans can get behind.

I have been in Managua now for the past four days. Today may be the day where I have the chance to leave and go to the department capital of Chinandega.

I had come to Managua to give a charla with my counterpart and we traveled through torrents of rain and witnessed flooding on both sides of the highway. Farmland looked like swamps and the microbus had to slow down and wade through flooded sections of road. Upon our arrival I was informed that the department of Chinandega was in a state of emergency and all of the volunteers were being “consolidated” to the department capital of Chinandega City… unless they were in Managua whereupon they would stay there for the duration of the consolidation period.

October 15th is Blog Action Day, where bloggers around the globe are attempting to unite and raise awareness of Global Warming this one day.

How effective will this be? Not sure, that’s a ton of computers that will all be greedily sucking electricity on one day.

 The ‘Good Germans’ Among Us

Dear America,

I think it’s time we sat down and had a discussion. We’ve been in a relationship for many years now, and I think we need to discuss where we are headed as a couple. For quite a while I have worked hard on keeping up this relationship, and I don’t see you giving much back.

Relationships are two way streets built on trust. For the past seven years, I don’t know how you can prove that you’ve trusted me. I have been here for you, and I have done what I could to council you on your problems, but you’ve ignored me, changed the subject, and even accused me of being the problem.

SO, I sit at home, or in class and I post and write to my hearts content, but I know nothing about the audience. Tell us a little about yourself maybe. Who do these posts go out to? Who actually looks through these links? Are we shouting loud into a void, or is there a warm receiving audience on the other side?
