I've always enjoyed your lyrics, they're accurate, and the feedback/meaning feature is useful and occasionally funny. However, you app is unresponsive a lot of times. It works perfectly fine on my friends galaxy s7 edge, but it doesn't on my pixel xl. The persistent notification for the song that your listening to is also extremely useful. It might not be working because I use the last.fm? It seems like your app isn't frozen when last.fm is permanently closed.

They host and enable spam. When using the app, I get pop up browser ads saying my device has been infected, those awful spam pop ups. Review your advertising contracts. Can't believe app store lets them through with this level of spam advertising. Wish I could record the actual process, have screenshots. Truly scumbag move on part of genius

Everytime I would read the comments and click back I would get the spam ads that open in chrome and day my phone has a virus. If they can fix that then it would be worth it but for now I will just go to Genius in my browser instead of using the app.

Its a great app and has had lyrics to every song I listen too, but its really buggy, sometimes It won't let me scroll down and sometimes it gets stuck in the horizontal screen, but its the only lyric app on android, please fix it. Update: now I have given it 1 stars because they refuse to fix this. Im tired of it.

Laggy asf when i open the app, mostly freezes at startups , have to force stop the app for every song i try to search, not all times are smooth, mostly frozen screen, i have to force stop and reopen the app just to search for one song. Adding more song lyrics but not improving the application. Disappointing.

Ever since I changed my device, this app has not been syncing with Apple Music app whereas it works with Play Music. In the previous device, it worked pretty well. This bug has been irritating.

Way too buggy. I end up having to wait up to like 10 seconds between each tap. Crashes all the time and randomly stops working 4/5 times it's used. The problem really stems from trying to load so much media on a page at once. The homepage should not be as cluttered with news and charts as it is. The #1 reason anyone is going to use this app is to search lyrics and meanings.
Even though you can "stream the song" as you read the lyrics, it doesn't work for more than 10 seconds on my LG G4. Also it freezes a lot. If not for those 2 issues I would have given 5 stars
It's a really good site for discussing song lyrics, but atm the app is kinda lacking. You can't get notifications through the app, and can't use a lot of the features such as editing annotations. Still good overall.
I enjoy it quite a bit, but oftentimes I'll try to open it and only get a blank screen. Occasional intrusive ads that automatically play sound, which stops the music you're trying to hear.
Ads interrupt music playback. When an ad starts playing, the other app that's playing the music stops. Twice, as there are two ads. What's the point of an app that shows lyrics to accompany the playback of music when it interrupts the music? What the actual stupid is that about?
I like Genius but I have issues with it being really slow. Sometimes it takes time to load and sometimes it freezes up. Still my one app for lyrics
As a non-native English speaker, sometimes I find it hard to follow some lyrics on English (Hip-Hop specially), Genius give me the lyrics and the explanation of it so I couldn't really ask for more. Verified lyrics are also interesting.
Why, when you update the app dissapears all the songs that you had already saved? I hate that because I have a lot! :( And also why the song that you are listening stoppes when you save another one at the same time? It's so annoying, fix it please because I like this app a lot! And to me this app always have worked fine until I updated and now it takes a lot of time to charge eveything and the ads at the very front are so no sense! But this is a good app so please do something!
Works like a charm on my 5T with one problem. The advertisments contain video pauzes any music playing in the background. And that is exactly what I use Genius for. Genius might have the dumbest ad system of all major Android apps I have..

Well between the front page ad and the huge ads inbetween every single verse in the app, these recent "Bug Fixes" seem to look a lot like inserting as many ads as possible into your app, which is such an absolute shame as I have been using Genius and supporting you guys for at least 6 years without any prior issue, and I really hope that you fix it. You guys are better than that. Until then I highly suggest using a previous version of the app.
A great app for lyrics,but it's very slow also bugs don't let U use it sometimes. I enjoy it's website more than the app!
Songs and Videos don't properly stream and its not the problem with the internet connection. Need to remove those glitches, then it deserves 5 🌟
The app is great; embodies many features of the genius website but crashes FAR too much to be used as in some days I can't even open it because it just crashes the instant it's opened (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ok first off, this app is great been helping me identify music and lyrics for 5 years already. Yall came a long way, congratulation but im only giving these a low rating becuase yall really disappointed me with the music your hyping up, giving mainstream music a way to impress even though most of it is trash. These expectations is a failure, no recognition no respect too much promtion for the new rapnits sicken to see. After this year I'm deleting this app and im doing this out of despite, not to concealed the down fall of this app because you still have people downloading this app and loving it and me deleting won't affect this at all. I'm just disappointed in the music man it's sad to see. Sorry for expressing too emotionally. I'm done thank you for viewing my review. I'm not wanting attention. Zero. I'm just giving a rating.
The app while crash a couple times a day. It's had this problem for a long time. Forums about this problem are 3 years old and still no fix.
Great, couldn't ask for better. However, the app crashes like 50% of the time i use it. My device is, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2015), pls look into this.
I like the app it self and it's really good but half the time I open it it crashes and I can't see the lyrics to my music fast enough. Other than that it's perfect, I just wish that you can fix that.

The app was awesome when I first had it and it launched. Now can't even launch it. Immeaditly crashes. Great concept but as buggy as it gets.
Unfortunately, this app often freeze and force close. My phone is Blackberry Aurora, android 7.1.1 and RAM 4GB. Please fix it ASAP. Thanks.
Badly optimized. 110mb when idle on my note8 even when set to sleep? My Chinese apps are better optimized AND they run on unity.

The app crashes every 10 minutes and takes over a minute to launch every time.
App crashes and is incredible slow started a couple months ago but its really starting to bother me now would rate 5/5
Used to love it, now the ads they allow are pausing the music as I scroll through the lyrics. Very interruptive.
It does not work very good. This app foes not have some of my favorite songs.

I love this app so much i use it all the time. My friends are always like "you just discovered this song and you already know the lyrics." And i tell them was all help to "Genius".
app freezes when after im done viewing a song and swipe it out of my recent programs tabs on Android, I have to force close it all the way in the settings to get it to work again
Everytime I push save it crashes not sure that I really like this app very much I thought it was cool at first I was looking up songs and it was giving me the lyrics but when I try to save them it crashes every time

suggesting a lyric page on the notification bar doesn't work half the time and with one of the new updates came auto-playing video ads, which are silent BUT they still pause spotify and any other music streaming from playing every single time you scroll to see one, rendering the app unusable.
I only downloaded this app for the widget. Unfortunately, there is only an in-app widget and due to the file size of the app, my ancient phone (Note 5) is having trouble loading it.
