Working With Outside Contractors

All Contractors and Consultants doing business with Stanford are required to have an approved purchase agreement before beginning work on campus.  They must have the appropriate insurance, comply with all county and state regulations, and follow University policy for construction.

Building/Facility Managers interested in using Contractors and Consultants should contact Stanford University’s Procurement Department, which manages the purchase process and maintains agreements.

Remember, even if you are using outside Contractors/Consultants you must abide by the Campus Capital Plan, managed by Stanford’s Department of Capital Planning and Department of Project Management.
