Whether you are launching a new product or organizing a major mission, a strong grasp of project management skills can ensure that targets are met on time and without going over budget. Successful companies such as HP and IBM have long considered project management courses essential for their engineers and managers. Many top CEOs understand that implementing the best practices of project management can help reduce costs, increase productivity, and boost corporate competitiveness. In this interactive course, students will be introduced to important concepts—such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the Critical Path Method (CPM)—and then led through the hands-on planning and execution of a real project. Other essential areas such as cost, quality, human resources, procurement, and risk management will also be addressed. Students, project engineers, managers, and business owners will benefit from gaining a firm understanding of this essential management skill.

Please note: Section A and Section B of “Project Management: An Introductory Hands-On Course” cover the same content.
