Silicon Valley’s successful business environment, great weather, quality schools, and cultural opportunities keep our home prices among the country’s highest. Designed to inform both buyers and sellers, this course offers insight into questions such as: Has the market reached its peak? How can I best prepare my house for sale? Will adding “green” products increase my home’s value? How do I make my strongest offer in a multiple-offer scenario? What’s the “best” loan product for me? What are the legal pitfalls I need to avoid in buying or selling a home?

The course will highlight critical issues in a highly competitive real estate market such as property valuation, financing, mandatory disclosures, risk management, staging, marketing, maximizing remodeling returns, and special issues for seniors. In addition to covering some foundational principles and the unique aspects of today’s market, we will provide a conceptual framework for use in the purchase or sale of a personal residence or residential investment real estate. This course is designed for individual investors, homeowners, prospective homeowners, and those considering a career in real estate sales.
