Tania Anaissie
Course Production Lead
After falling in love with design thinking, she joined the Product Design program, and eager to apply the methods to create social change, she co-founded the Stanford chapter of Design for America in 2011, a national student group that leads teams to tackle problems in their communities using design. She led two environmental projects in the area.
Taking a brief break, Tania moved to Berlin for 6 months. Exploring industrial design, she worked for a purse company and designed a leather bag for their 2013 collection. That fall she returned to Stanford for her last undergraduate year and right after graduation jetted off to Berlin for a design research gig at Deutsche Telekom’s innovation lab, the Creation Center.
And now, she’s more than excited to be back at the d.School working on a project that’s she’s sure is going to change the world. Additionally, she loves gluten free baking, city exploration, and lunches by Terman fountain.
