There are many tools to help us learn better, but what about tools that help us teach others? In this popup, we will be experimenting with the magic of teaching and learning in groups. Whether you are an entrepreneur, classroom teacher, or student, if you have an idea for an engaging educational product or technique to better communicate to a group, this is the right popup for you!

This pop-up class is about using design thinking to create new classroom tools that can engage an audience to teach them something new. Do you have such an idea? Bring it, test it, get feedback, iterate! Come prepared to have fun doing it!

By the end of this 3-evening series, you will have created and prototyped your own tool to teach and learn, by following the design thinking process and creatively incorporating aspects from the real world into the communication of an idea, concept or experience that you would like to share with an audience.

In addition, the teaching team will use this class to prototype and test approximately 7-10 of our own ideas to make classrooms more engaging, with roots in edtech, improv and the d.school methods. Students should come prepared to practice the art of giving feedback: we will be learning side by side!
