With 15,000 bicycles on campus, police worry about safety
Last week campus public safety officers were handing out traffic tickets as well as coupons for discounted bike helmets to bicyclists. The effort was intended to reinforce the message that it's against the law for bikers to roll through a stop sign and that helmets save lives.
