Academic Staff serve in various types of (non-professorial) positions, including Lecturers, Artists-in-Residence, Research Associates, and Librarians. Academic Staff are typically appointed for a specific period of time, for a continuing term, or for the duration of an administrative appointment or project, and there are differing benefits associated with these appointments.
