Panelists at the June 23, 2015, debut discussion of the Locus initiative stressed that more must be done to encourage funders and development practitioners to use evidence-based, integrated approaches to address global challenges. FHI 360’s APHIAplus Nuru ya Bonde project presented vital equipment to help monitor the condition of pregnant women and make childbirth safer in health facilities throughout Kenya.

The June 11 Live online Q&A discussion, organized by The Guardian, was titled “How can we stop neglecting girls’ nutrition?” The event brought together prominent international human development and global health experts.
