Along with a general description of UNFPA's goals and programmes, and its activities in Uzbekistan, it includes some basic financial data (2005-2014). Special highlights are the mapped examples of UNFPA's work in the country, stories of success in the variety of initiatives that we undertake, as well as guiding principles of ICPD Programme of Action.

Tashkent, 21 November 2014—United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and Republican Scientific Practical Centre “Oila” (“Family”) join hands in organizing a day-long conference around the issues related to ICPD (International Conference on Population and Development) Beyond 2014, as well as launching of UNFPA’s annual publication, State of the World Population Report 2014.
Tashkent, 17 November 2014 - A roundtable and press conference to launch the annual ‘From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World’ International Action was held in Tashkent on November 17. The key goal of the events, organized by several UN Agencies including UNFPA, national public organizations and interested donors, is to draw public attention to and promote the protection of women’s rights.
