Smart Page and Smart Web On-Call are now integrated into one system interface. A single click of a button takes you to both the Smart Page and On-Call portals. The following explains the minor changes you will experience.
Differences in the new Smart Page
Old tabs vs. new tabs
The old Smart Page landing page allows you to perform a search using any of the criteria fields below. It also displays the Paging and Personal Profile tabs.
The new Smart Page portal displays four tabs: Global Search, My Messages & Settings, On-Call Assignments, and Report Directory Error.
Global Search
The Paging and Directory Search tabs in the old portal combine to become the Global Search tab in the new portal. Global Search allows you to search the entire paging and on-call directory, as well as the option to filter searches on profile, on call, and/or directory.
My Messages & Settings
The Personal Profile tab in the old portal is now replaced by My Messages & Settings in the new portal.
NOTE: My Messages & Settings will only be available through login. More information coming soon.
From My Messages & Settings in the new portal, you can view coverage and status, manage messages, view directory listings, and upload a directory photo by clicking the individual menu items.
Differences in the new On-Call
In the old On-Call portal, you would find the menu items below.
In the new On-Call portal, you will find the tab is now labeled On-Call Assignments. The Today, Scheduler Assignment, Person Assignment, and Multiple Assignment menu items have been removed.
Under Search Results, you can now view the On-Call procedure by clicking the blue "i" icon.
In the old On-Call portal, you would have to log in to view history.
In the new portal, no login is required and you can search back up to 13 months. (Search goes no further than September 2015 when the new system was launched.)
The fourth tab Report Directory Error is the final menu change that allows you to update your directory information, i.e., phone number, address, etc.
