In Company: Robert Creeley's Collaborations

For more than forty years, the internationally celebrated poet Robert Creeley has worked collaboratively with some of the most influential visual artists of our time—among them Georg Baselitz, R. B. Kitaj, Francesco Clemente, John Chamberlain, Jim Dine, Robert Indiana, Marisol, Susan Rothenberg, and Donald Sultan. In Company: Robert Creeley's Collaborations, a travelling exhibition organized and curated by Elizabeth Licata of the Castellani Art Museum, Niagara University, highlights these projects over the span of Creeley's career, and includes books, prints, drawings, mixed media works and photographs, as well as correspondence between artists and poets drawn from private collections and the Robert Creeley Archive at Stanford.
