The Undergraduate Fellowships Program engages students in full-time, public service experiences to integrate academic learning and field based service.  Summer fellowships offer students opportunities for transformative personal growth and development, career exploration, and intellectual inquiry, while making contributions to public service organizations and communities around the world.  Fellowship awards begin at $4,000 and are adjusted based on financial need and proposed living expense budgets

Fellows can pursue  prearranged placements or self-designed opportunities in both domestic and international settings across the Haas Center pathways: direct service, engaged scholarship, activism, philanthropy, public policy and social entrepreneurship. Our programs include pre-field preparatory programs and advising, cohort development, faculty engagement, and reflection opportunities during and after the fellowship experience. See the Fellowships List to the left for more information on our diverse array of opportunities to serve.

Note: if you are a graduating senior, you are eligible for both undergraduate fellowships and postgraduate fellowship opportunities, although you cannot be awarded both, and except for Haas Round II, priority is given to returning students.

The Haas Center is committed to ensuring that its programs and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities.  If you need a disability-related accommodation or have questions about disability access related to fellowships, please contact 650-725-0326 (voice) or email disability.access@stanford.edu.
