Biography

Amanda handles financial transaction processing for Woods Institute for the Environment and its programs. She acts as the custodian and verifier for the department purchase card and the travel card, and is another point of contact for reimbursements, purchasing, invoicing and travel expenses. Amanda has had her career in finance and accounting for over 15 years. Prior to joining Woods Institute, she has held positions in investment and venture capital banking, high tech and specialty finance, as well as having worked in start up to large companies such as Google, Hitachi and Applied Materials in Silicon Valley.

In her spare time, Amanda loves fine dining, good wine, music and the outdoors. She is also an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling.
