Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are back on the road with the second and final leg of their Soul2Soul world tour that resumed in May after a seven-month hiatus in North America. The promoter, Messina Touring Group, has reported $2.1 million in sales from the first three cities on the 2018 run, earning the country superstars a slot on the most recent weekly tally of Hot Tours (see below).

Attendance reached 27,532 from shows at Richmond (Virginia) Coliseum, the Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia, and Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky -- the first three arenas on the current North American leg. This summer, they are booked to play arenas in a total of 27 cities in the U.S. and Canada before wrapping the trek on July 22 at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

McGraw and Hill kicked off their co-headlining jaunt in April of last year with a slate of 70 U.S. and Canadian arenas booked through October. The opening 2017 leg of the tour grossed $79 million from almost one million sold tickets to earn the couple the No. 12 ranking on Billboard’s list of the year’s Top 25 Tours.

Prior to this year’s summer run, they made a headlining appearance at the annual C2C Country to Country music festival in the U.K. and Ireland during March. Along with Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion and others, they performed at London’s O2 arena, SSE Hydro in Glasgow and 3Arena in Dublin.

Fellow country superstar Kenny Chesney also lands among the 10 top-grossing touring artists of the week with sales reported from his ongoing Trip Around the Sun tour. In this recap, he scores with $5.4 million in ticket sales from two venues, Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center in the Indianapolis market and Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field.

Since beginning his tour in April, ticket sales sit at $34.8 million from 395,153 sold seats at 12 shows. Chesney is performing at both stadiums and outdoor amphitheaters on this summer’s 18-week trek set to wrap at the end of August.
