Mathias Crawford studies the Infrastructures of Play. His current research traces the origins of contemporary social networking sites such as Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter to community recreation spaces built in post-war America. Mathias is a Stanford Graduate Fellow and a Values in Design Fellow.
