Energy Entrepreneurship Initiative and Cleantech Accelerator Fair

Are you interested in learning what it takes to become an energy entrepreneur? Have you ever thought about forming a start-up in the cleantech sector? Then the Stanford Energy Club has a series of events just for you!

The SEC is placing a major emphasis on entrepreneurship in energy this year. We have several exciting new events planned, including an online pitch competition with MIT and an Energy Solutions competition with Young Professionals in Energy (YPE)!

Our launch event for this initiative will take place on January 31st with the Cleantech Accelerator Fair.

About the  Cleantech Accelerator Fair:

  •  Learn more about cleantech accelerators, such as FLoW, Cleantech Open, StartX, and (our co-sponsor) the TomKat Center for Energy Innovation.
  •  Hear from winners of these competitions, such as NGen, DragonFly, and others.
  •  Network with representatives from each accelerator as well as other students interested in clean tech entrepreneurship.

If you have any interest in one day starting your own energy company, this is an excellent opportunity to hear what it takes from successful entrepreneurs and their mentors!

Stay tuned for more information about all of the SEC’s upcoming events and more during our Energy Entrepreneurship Initiative!
