Access

Open to the Stanford University community as well as the general public, by appointment only. For site security reasons, appointments must be made via email at least 48 hours in advance.

Accessibility

SLAC Research Library staff will attempt to accommodate the special needs of its users who identify themselves as disabled, differently abled, or specially challenged and will provide assistance that overcomes barriers to accomplishing tasks in the Library that most users can do for themselves.

Location

The SLAC Research Library Reading Room is located in the lobby of Building 050, situated half-way around the Loop Road on the SLAC Campus, which is west of the main Stanford Campus at 2575 Sand Hill Road.

Transit and parking

All visitors to the SLAC site must show valid government or Stanford University identification upon entering the site. Parking at SLAC is free, but limited. The SLAC line of Stanford’s free Marguerite Shuttle runs regularly, and has a stop directly across from the front door of Building 050.
