While collecting rainwater for a building isn't new, most of the time it's used for plants or toilets.
By installing the Rainhouse system, which includes a roof made of "bioconcrete," every rainfall can produce drinking water for the building's inhabitants. Its designers say that the technology can fit any size of building, from a factory to a home.

"When an unforeseen situation arises, a capacity for deeper, on-board reasoning must be in place, because no finite rule set created ahead of time by humans can anticipate every possible scenario."
The US Navy is working with several universities on a new multi-year project designed to figure out how to engineer moral competence. One big challenge: Science still doesn't know exactly how it works in humans.

On Choosing Your Clients Wisely: http://ow.ly/wGd2S by @vannalexandra
An extremely valuable part of my work is my clients. In the crowdfunding space clients are essential because I jump from campaign to campaign to campaign, which means multiple clients in intense capacities. As I said last week, each campaign is like a love affair; it’s fast, emotional, and ...

+j1o2n3a4s5k6 This is because this theory is beyond your intellect. Sales people are sales driven; the bottom 25% aren't sales driven enough to make themselves or the company profitable. Their formula is if your are at the bottom 25%, then you are not happy enough with what you are taking home based on your sales and if you're not happy then you are not fit for the position. An unhappy employee is a burden on the company's moral. This is why so many fortune 500 companies are now investing in creating a positive culture in their business models; to improve marketing and innovation and remain competitive. Sales people laugh at their base salary checks (if any) they make their money on commission.

Super PACs have no limits on how much money they can receive, which could mean a future in which Bitcoin fundraising plays a much larger role.
This week the Federal Election Commission gave permission for political action committees to accept the cryptocurrency. They can also purchase Bitcoin with existing funds, but they can't use it to buy goods or services.

It reminds me of how Pachiko in Japan works... its illegal to gamble for money, so you gamble for a prize... which then you can take to another shop and sell it for money.  Close the loophole, or don't make it illegal to donate 4.5 quadbillion dollars...

"There are few people living in [the city] who have their own garage and don't have to worry about when their parking is expiring."
Once Parking Maestro receives information about the parking restrictions, it uses your location to let you know how long it'll take for you to get back before the meter maid or tow truck shows up.

In Austen's Emma, Mrs. Elton says that compared to other strawberries, the hautboy is "infinitely superior—no comparison—the others hardly eatable."
For a few weeks only, the UK-based supermarket chain Waitrose is offering what they're calling "bubbleberries" due to their distinctive taste. In botanical circles, they're known as musk strawberries; in Jane Austen's day, they were called hautboys.

+TheChoson1. That's a good point. I guess I'd defer on the side of creative freedom and let the critics and audience weigh in. The whole idea of "rules" in the creative realm makes me uncomfortable.
