I’m new to the GSC this year, and I’m committed to improving grad student life at Stanford. Some of my goals are: 1) Ensuring that the GSC runs smoothly, and deepening our relationship with other campus offices that serve grad students; 2) Increasing diversity advocacy and awareness; 3) Promoting the Humanities at Stanford; and 4) Making sure we better advertise all of the amazing grad student events that happen on campus year round.

At GSC, I hope to promote the general welfare and address concerns of the graduate student body. I am dedicated to create an engaging and inclusive graduate student community, preserve and advocate diversity, and increase interdepartmental collaborations. I will also work hard to make sure that the resources that the GSC has will be allocated properly to improve graduate student experience.

I’ve served on the GSC for the past 3 years now. Looking forward to continue representing Stanford graduate students on a wide range of issues.

I am new to GSC. I am interested in helping various student organizations to get funding for their events.

As the Social Chair, I am responsible for the established grad-wide events (Welcome Back Party, Grad Formal, etc.). I would also love to take on any other events that you would like to have available, so please feel free to contact me any time with your thoughts. I’ve been at Stanford for one year and I had a lot of fun organizing the GSC Thanksgiving Dinner, which is why I decided to continue event planning with the GSC. I look forward to an enjoyable year and encourage everyone to take a break from your work and come out to our events!

I am proud to represent my friends and colleagues in the School of Medicine. This is my first year serving on the GSC and my primary interests include 1) empowering student groups (social and academic), 2) facilitating cross-department engagements, and 3) promoting diversity at Stanford.

Hello! I’m a PhD Candidate in Structural Engineering seeking to better the Stanford Grad experience by advocating for Health Care Affordability, GoPass for Everyone and Grad Well-Being and Rights. I also focus on ensuring your student fees go to inclusive events that are welcoming to the whole graduate population. As parliamentarian, I make sure we are following the ASSU constitution in our proceedings. This is my first year in the GSC and I am very excited to help make Grad life at Stanford more enjoyable.

I’m new to GSC. Passionate about improving the work-life balance of Grad students in all discipline, and promote cultural, recreational and art events among the community.

My focus for the coming year will be on making sure the GSC GoPass subsidy program continues and is successful!

I have been living in Stanford for six years – four years as an undergrad/coterm and two years as a PhD student. I really enjoy the diverse community of Stanford and will do my best to improve it.

I am proud to represent the School of Engineering students and have the opportunity to enhance the welfare of the entire Stanford student community. I am dedicated to improve the diversity at Stanford by promoting more creative events. I would also love to advocate more engagements among different schools such as School of Engineering, Humanities and Business and help various student groups function successfully.
