What do young people have to say about issues around longevity? The Center on Longevity engages Stanford students in explorations of longevity-related topics. Through blogs on the Center website, Stanford students share their insights, thoughts, questions and research.

These blogs take two forms:

“The New Longevity”
First year students participating in Professor Laura Carstensen’s introductory seminar called “The New Longevity” wrote about their first explorations of longevity issues. Students have grappled with topics ranging from creativity to motherhood to chronic diseases.

More senior students at Stanford participate in individualized blogs in a program called “Your Life, Starting Now” in which they tackle topics such as financial security and the links between relationships and mental health through a series of interviews with experts from Stanford and local industry.
