Read More » Welcome to our newest faculty Dr. Shivaani Kummar, Professor of Medicine, joins us from the National Cancer Institute, where she directed the Phase I program. An experienced clinical researcher with a long track record in the development of innovative early clinical trial designs, she brings to her position a superb ability to bring together clinicians, pharmacologists, imagers, and basic scientists. Dr. Suleiman Massarweh, Associate Professor of Medicine, comes to us from the University of Kentucky. He will join our breast cancer program with a specialty interest in ER-Positive breast cancer. He brings extensive experience as both a laboratory researcher and a clinical trialist, whose research has focused on identifying the causes of, and overcoming, resistance to hormonal therapy. |

The Division of Oncology is seeking qualified faculty for several open positions, and the VA Palo Alto seeks a board-certified physician to serve as joint section chief for Oncology and Hematology. Successful applicants must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Oncology and/or Hematology, with a history of peer-reviewed funding. |
