Welcome to the Robinson Lab

Our lab studies the molecular mechanisms of and develops therapies to treat autoimmune disease, with a focus on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and multiple sclerosis (MS).

We perform translational bench-to-bedside research, and our objective is to rapidly convert discoveries at the bench into practical patient care tools and therapies.

We develop and apply protein array and other multiplex technologies to:

  1. discover and define autoantigen targets

  2. study the mechanisms governing immune tolerance

  3. develop tolerizing therapies

  4. study regeneration of autoimmune-injured tissues

Our unifying goal is to develop a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of RA and MS.

We are part of the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine, the Program in Immunology, and the Center for Clinical Immunology at Stanford (CCIS), at Stanford University School of Medicine.
