This conference and a companion conference were held at the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago on April 23rd to the 25th and brought together a wide range of distinguished macro economists to present their ideas and proposed contributions to the new Handbook of Macroeconomics, which will be edited by John B. Taylor and Harald Uhlig.

White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection

On Friday, February 13, the White House will host a daylong summit on cybersecurity and consumer protection.  The summit,  part of the larger Stanford Cyber Initiative launched in November 2014, will bring together  leaders from the federal government, business sector, law enforcement, and consumer advocates, as well as Stanford faculty and students currently researching cybersecurity issues.
