Fiscal Year 2022 Budget

On May 28, 2021, President Biden proposed a strong budget for national service and volunteerism, providing AmeriCorps with $1.2 billion, an increase of $89.2 million over the current year enacted budget, to support AmeriCorps and its state and local partners in engaging Americans of all backgrounds in results-driven service to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement.

Sustainability Performance Plans

In accordance with Executive Order 13524, AmeriCorps produces a report that assesses the agency’s current practices that promote structural and environmental sustainability. AmeriCorps will continue to promote programs and partnerships that assist communities in preparing for, and recovering from, risks associated with climate change through emergency management support, environmental stewardship, and energy conservation programs.

Conference Spending Reports

As part of our commitment to ensure the highest levels of accountability in our financial and program operations, AmeriCorps provides information on our performance and financial condition as it pertains to conference spending.

OMB Memo 12-12, Promoting Efficient Spending to Support Agency Operations, dated May 11,2012, requires agencies to annually report their conference activities.  Specifically, agencies must publically report on all conference expenses in excess of $100,000 on a dedicated place on their official website beginning January 31, 2013.
