This is how SF State Guardian Scholars roll, thanks to alum Joseph Hui. Hui, also a former foster youth, was inspired by the University’s program that supports foster children. He supports the program by donating bikes to students through the Adopt-a-Family Bikes program. He’s been bringing bikes to SF State students for eight years. Our Guardian Scholar Gators were thrilled with their new rides. Thanks, Joseph!

“A bike is a great form of transportation. You don’t have to buy gas or find parking,” Hui said. "It was really important for me to have a bike when I was a student and I wanted them to have the same thing. I love hearing their stories. They are so inspiring."
