• BaBar Analysis Information System (BAIS)
  An analysis information system is in development to aid AWG conveners, the PAC, the PubBoard, the Speakers Bureau, and all BaBarians who need to find information about the many analyses in progress or completed. The current version, while still awaiting some more updates, is available for use as the BaBar Analysis Information System (the name may change later if a better acronym is found). If you are truly adventurous and interested in seeing the latest mods in development, you may try the development version of the analysis information system (which may be broken at any given time, and contains only test data, and is accessible only from SLAC browsers).

• BaBar Meeting Organizer
  The Meeting Organizer is intended to be a central location for access to and archival of current and past meeting information including all material presented at BaBar meetings. It has been in development for some time and is now approaching the first production version. If you want to try the development version (no promises that it is working at all times), visit https://www.slac.stanford.edu/babar-internal/BMO/BbrMeetingOrganizer/index.html

• BaBar Publications Database System (PubDb)
  The BaBar PubDb provides access to BaBar journal papers; conference abstracts, submissions, presentations, and proceedings; seminar, colloquium, and review talks; public plots and figures; BaBar notes; and theses. It does not as yet include the BaBar analysis documents, which are stored in the BAD system.

    • Public: for non-collaborators—displays public documents only
    • Internal: for BaBar collaborators—displays everything

      Password Requirements for PubDb internal access
      The PubDb uses your unix userid plus your Oracle password (the one used to update your personal information in the Personnel database; it is different from the usual Hypernews password). The password prompt box indicates this. It will say

        Enter username for SLAC at oraweb.slac.stanford.edu
      

      and not

        Enter username for Hypernews at www.slac.stanford.edu
      

      The original announcement of the PubDb (see http://babar-hn.slac.stanford.edu:5090/HyperNews/get/DCItf/99.html) described this. If you don't know your BaBar oracle password, you can obtain it by sending an email request to db-admin@slac.stanford.edu.
