Jamie Brett

I decided to pursue biology research when my high school teacher introduced me to nature essays written by Loren Eiseley. As a Stanford undergraduate in Professor Anne Brunet's lab, I also became interested in medical questions and entered Stanford's MD/PhD program. I now work in Tom Rando's lab, investigating why cells from old organisms behave differently compared to cells from young organisms and how to achieve rejuvenation of old cells.
