Communications and Training

What we do

Communications and Training is made up of two groups of people who provide services to units across University IT and Stanford that aid in the successful deployment of systems and services. By combining like resources into centralized units, University IT is able to perform these tasks in a manner that provides consistent standards and avoids duplication of service.

  • The Communications unit creates, maintains, and delivers promotional and service support materials related to information technology at Stanford. This includes both online and print content, as well as presentations intended to increase service awareness, enhance the community's ability to access and use services, and ensure Stanford is prepared for any upcoming service launches or changes. The group provides strategic and tactical communications support to all of University IT, a collaboration of the three Business Affairs IT organizations. more details...
