Starting from late June, Stanford's East Asia Library will be moving from its current location at Meyer Library to the new location at Lathrop Library. The entire move process will take about three months to complete. Library staff will make their best effort to keep the collections and service open as long as possible. However, the library will need to be closed on certain days to facilitate the move. The following is a schedule of closures and important dates from June to September.

Please note that the circulation desk will remain at Meyer Library until August 22. The borrowing, picking-up, and returning of East Asia Library materials will still be handled at Meyer. These services will not be available from August 25 to September 14. Users are encouraged to check out books they need by August 22. During the closed period, they can still use services such as Inter-library Loan to obtain materials from other institutions, especially UC Berkeley's East Asia Library. Late returns during the closed period will be forgiven.
