I have a dog she was a rescue. Rescued by my friend from an abusive house and than shown to me and i fell in love on the spot XD told him to quickly show my mum she would take her in!! 2 hours later i got a phone call that we have a dog XD never been so happy she is 8 now and still loved and cared for. I also have a cat she was rescued by my mums friend we got our dog from her as well. My cat is one year old still looks like a kitten she is a normal cat mixed with a Persian. The people who moved into the place didn't know there were cats left there by the previous owners and they didn't neuter the female so she kept having kittens. Even though they didn't know abut the cats they put out food for them and milk and water but they had to fight for the food. At the end they had about 8 litters of kittens in the house and RSPCA in UK refused to take them as they had no room so they let the kittens go in the countryside somewhere and i got mine before they did it thank god she is so cuddly and loves my dog. My next cat and dog will be from a shelter or maybe 2 cats one black and one another color xD

Black cats are so beautiful. Thank you for promoting cat shelter adoptions. Both of my kitties Amber and Jace are rescue cats and they are both unique and wonderful companions. Breaks my heart to see so many abandoned when they have so much love in them in spite of it all. My life is happier with my kitties in it. If anyone out there is considering getting a pet, please choose to adopt a rescue kitty <3
