Mark Zunich - Acting Title IX Coordinator, Title IX Investigator

In October 2014, Mark joined Stanford as a Title IX Investigator and in September 2015 began acting as interim Title IX Coordinator. His primary duties include investigating and resolving student-related matters involving sexual assault, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, stalking and relationship violence. He also assists with training faculty, staff and students about their rights and responsibilities under Title IX. Prior to Stanford, Mark, an attorney, worked in higher education for over ten years, both at the University of Oregon and the University of Dayton. Mark also has extensive experience working in private practice on matters involving higher education and employment discrimination law.

 

 

Kristen Kreple - Title IX Investigator

Kristen Kreple, Title IX Investigator

In August 2015, Kristen joined Stanford as a Title IX Investigator. Her primary duties include investigating and resolving student-related matters involving sexual assault, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, stalking and relationship violence. She also assists with training faculty, staff and students about their rights and responsibilities under Title IX. Kristen is an attorney who has devoted her legal career to public service, working on civil rights issues relating to Title IX, Title VI, Section 504 and the Violence Against Women Act in the Washington D.C. area, before relocating to the Bay area. 

 
 
 
 

 

Miranda Tuttle - Title IX Administrative Officer

In August 2014, Miranda joined the Title IX Office as its Administrative Officer. Her primary role is to support the work of the Title IX Office and its mission to ensure compliance with Title IX in all student-related matters involving sexual harassment, including sexual assault. Miranda is a 10+ year employee of Stanford, who previously worked in Undergraduate Advising and Research and the President’s Office.
