Charles Ginnever’s sculptures concern visual perception. His works often repeat a single geometric form or component several times in different ways. The three 20-foot-by-4-foot elements constituting The Three Graces are equal but are oriented differently. The mystery of Ginnever’s art lies in observing this relationship and discovering how shifting light and shadow plus viewer’s perspective alter the appearance of the work.
