Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Stanford examines how societies organize gender roles, relations, and identities, and how these intersect with other hierarchies of power, such as class, race, nationality, ethnicity, sexuality, disability and age. The Program coordinates courses across the disciplines with a focus on feminist, gender, and sexuality studies. The degree prepares majors for graduate study in humanities and social sciences, as well as for professional schools.
