Research Interests

My research interest is to understand and control novel quantum states emergent in strongly correlated electron system. To address these issues, I perform novel x-ray spectroscopy on correlated materials, including (time-resolved) resonant x-ray diffraction, (time-resolved) resonant inelastic x-ray scattering, and angle-resolved spectroscopy at the LCLS and other advanced synchrotron radiation light source

Projects

  • Charge, spin, and orbital orders in correlated materials (via resonant x-ray diffraction)
  • Charge and spin excitations in correlated materials (via high resolution resonant inelastic x-ray scattering and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy)
  • Non-equilibrium dynamics in correlated materials (via time-resolved resonant x-ray diffraction and time-resolved resonant inelastic x-ray scattering at the LCLS)
  • Ultrafast photon control of correlated materials.
