Stanford's Marguerite shuttle service will make minor schedule changes to nearly all routes and implement route adjustments for selected routes on Oct. 1. Marguerite schedule adjustments will reflect changes to Caltrain weekday schedules effective Oct. 1.
In addition, Marguerite will offer a new Line MC Direct route between Parking Structure 5 and the Hospital Fountain to better serve the Medical Center. The following summarizes the Marguerite route and schedule changes:

Changes implemented on Sept. 17
New printed schedules will be available the week of Sept. 24 on all buses, online, and at Parking & Transportation Services. If you need assistance, please contact us at marguerite@stanford.edu or 650.723.9362.
The Galvez Lot (L-96) will reopen for event parking in October 2012. With a maximum parking capacity of 423 cars, the new lot provides major improvements, including a paved surface, marked spaces, permanent lighting, and three new access driveways. In place of the former driveway access on Campus Drive, there will be two new points of entry/exit on Galvez Street and a third access point on Lasuen Street near Campus Drive. Map of Galvez Lot
The renovation includes the installation of nine new pay-by-space machines. P&TS will offer several new payment options that are outlined in the Galvez Lot Event Parking Guidelines (PDF). Event planners will continue to schedule their event parking through Parking & Transportation Services (P&TS).
Since events at Stanford increasingly affect the university’s ability to meet goals under the General Use Permit (GUP) (PDF), event planners are asked to help schedule events in a way that avoids generating peak-trip arrivals (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.) and peak-trip departures (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
To minimize your department’s event costs and encourage event attendees to use alternative transportation, event planners also are encouraged to have event attendees pay their own parking fee. Visit our Stanford Events and Peak-hour Trips web page to learn more about reducing event impacts on Stanford’s vehicle trip limit goals.
For more information regarding event parking, or to schedule Galvez Lot for your event, please send an email to eventparking@stanford.edu or call us at 650.723.9362.
