Bio: 

Ellie is the Privacy Risk Manager in the Stanford University Privacy Office. Ellie is responsible for establishing the framework for identifying and managing privacy risks and for building the process for executing privacy assessments across Stanford University. Prior to joining Stanford University, Ellie worked in the management consulting space providing privacy, internal audit and other services to major corporations across the United States. Additionally, Ellie spent five years working in a healthcare organization where she was instrumental in the development of the privacy and data security audit program that helped the company manage compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.

Ellie holds an MBA from Georgia State University, with a concentration in Finance, and a BSc from the University of the West Indies, with dual concentrations in Accounting and Economics. Additionally, Ellie holds the following certifications: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Chartered Accountant (CA).
