Bio:
Michelle Phan is a Senior Auditor in Stanford University’s Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy. She joined the department in March 2015 and performs financial, operational, and compliance audits for the School of Medicine. Michelle comes to ACP from the Department of Bioengineering, where she was a Grants Manager for 2 years providing post-award research administration to faculty on both sponsored and non-sponsored awards.
Prior to joining Stanford, Michelle worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at UC Irvine for 3 years and has worked in higher education for 7 years.
Michelle holds a MBA in Finance from California State University of Long Beach and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in Management from UC Irvine. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA).
